WHO IS RESPONSIBLE AND IN CHARGE OF THE TREATMENT OF YOUR DATA?

WHAT KIND OF DATA DO WE PROCESS?

We only process the data established by the current regulations. Specifically, you must provide us with the following data for your identification: Name and surname, Sex, identity document number, document support number, type of document (DNI, Passport, TIE), Nationality, date of birth, complete address, telephone, and e-mail.

Copy of I.D. card with your image (Selfie) to verify the accuracy of the data you have provided during your registration.

FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We process your data to be able to accurately identify all persons over 14 years of age, as well as to proceed to the communication of your data to the accommodation in which you are going to stay.

WHAT IS THE LEGITIMACY FOR THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA?

The legal basis that allows us to treat your personal data will be the legal obligation for compliance with Royal Decree 933/2021 of 26 October, which establishes the responsibilities of documentary records and information of natural or legal persons engaged in activities of accommodation and rental of motor vehicles.

HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

In cases where Lock Up Smart Doors S.L. is in charge of communicating the data to the police, the data will be kept for three (3) years. If the person in charge of the communication is the host, Lock Up will keep the data for the time established by the host, never more than three (3) years.

After the periods mentioned above, they will be anonymized, keeping only the country of origin, age, and sex for statistical purposes of the APP.

As for the copy of your identification document and selfie, these will be immediately deleted once the accuracy of the identification data you have provided has been verified and the stay for which you have provided them has ended.

WILL WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES?

Personal data will be communicated to the accommodation where you will check-in.

Technical services we work with:

  • Amazon Rekognition to automatically verify if the image that appears on the I.D. and signature corresponds to the selfie and signature of the user staff.

  • For the storage of your data, we use the services of Amazon, in the eu-west-1 zone (within the European Union).

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS WHEN YOU PROVIDE US WITH YOUR DATA?

  • We are committed to respecting the confidentiality of your personal data and to guaranteeing you the exercise of your rights. 

    You can exercise them free of charge by emailing us at faustino@operto.com, simply indicating the reason for your request and the right you wish to exercise. 

    Upon receipt of your request, it will be communicated to the lodgings responsible for processing.

    You have the right to: 

    • Ask us for access to your data that we hold. 

    • Ask us to rectify the data we already have. Please note that by actively providing us with your personal information by any means, you warrant that it is true and accurate and undertake to notify us of any changes or modifications.

    • Ask us to delete your data to the extent that they are no longer necessary for the purpose we need to process them as we have previously informed you or that we no longer have the legitimacy to do so

    • Ask us to restrict the processing of your data, which means that in some instances, you may ask us to suspend the processing of your data temporarily or to keep it longer than necessary when needed. If you have provided us with your consent to process your data for any purpose, you can withdraw your consent at any time. 

    • To receive the personal data you have provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another data controller.

    • Moreover, when the processing of your data is based on our legitimate interest, you also have the right to object to the processing of your data.


    Finally, we inform you of your right to complain to the relevant data protection supervisory authority, particularly the Spanish Data Protection Agency https://www.agpd.es/portalwebAGPD/index-ides-idphp.php 

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY.

 We may occasionally change the information in this Privacy Policy as we deem appropriate. If we do so, we will notify you through the Platform so that you can review the changes, assess them, and, if proper, object or unsubscribe to any service or functionality.
